Chelsea Jahn LM, CPM
Chelsea grew up in rural Idaho and had never heard of a midwife until she went looking for a practical way to assist in the health care crisis of women around the world. One day a friend happened to say, ‘Hey, you should be a midwife’…. So she did.
Chelsea’s midwifery education includes an academic intensive course through Mercy in Action and a full year of comprehensive midwifery training at Maternidad La Luz Midwifery School and Birth Center in El Paso, Texas. She holds a certification in Neonatal Resuscitation and Adult/Child/Infant CPR. In addition to her midwifery background, Chelsea has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Azusa Pacific University.
Chelsea is excited to be back in her hometown with her own homebirth practice after 3 years in Juneau, Alaska practicing midwifery as a staff midwife in a community birth center. Chelsea enjoys spending time with family, the outdoors, and traveling the world.
